When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Hegedus Henrik sped through BPS F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thanasis Triantis. Aimilios Mitsakos's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimilios Mitsakos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Aimilios Mitsakos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Thanasis Triantis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 18th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanasis Triantis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fanis Prekkas in the 26th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Thanasis Triantis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Triantis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Thanasis Triantis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fanis Prekkas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanasis Triantis. When Balazs Lajos came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balazs Lajos couldn't finish the play. The BPS F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hungary were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
