Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kajetan Ochabski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After 11th play minutes Huang Sang shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Tommy Kahn and just under the crossbar into goal. Heemskerk AC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Orlanda Boñar took the corner. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 34th minute of the match Heemskerk AC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Orlanda Boñar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in Heemskerk AC's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajetan Ochabski came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Frank Sachs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Heemskerk AC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Heemskerk AC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Heemskerk AC's Zdzislaw Tychy in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cyprian Prokowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Heemskerk AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Domeka Cerbera charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
