Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Kim Bolas made the kick off and thus started the match. Mike Axisa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Toledo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Santiago Sartori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, David Aranda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mike Axisa. Sliema Dragons FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Aranda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 33rd minute David Aranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that David Aranda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mike Axisa was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Pepe Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kim Bolas in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gabriel Ascaso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 45 minutes Spain's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leszek Cupial who took care of the corner kick. After having played for 47 minutes, Adria Bielsa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adria Bielsa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Omar Toledo to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Selman Onkal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kim Bolas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gabriel Ascaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sliema Dragons FC. Omar Toledo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mike Axisa came out and tried to block the shot, but Omar Toledo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. Omar Toledo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Mike Axisa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 70 minutes into the match, Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Mike Axisa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Aranda. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Bolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Adria Bielsa did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Mike Axisa 86 minutes into the match. Sliema Dragons FC made a substitution. Dejan Cassar replaced Kim Bolas. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Carles Cherro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Selman Onkal fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sliema Dragons FC's protests and gave Selman Onkal a yellow card for diving instead. After 94 played minutes Sliema Dragons FC got a freekick which was hit by Selman Onkal.
