Dorel Balint could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Andrei Oloieru made a huge save. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornel Manciulea in the 10th minute of play. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Bocșan, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Fernandez in the 13th minute of the match. After 14 minutes Raureni Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Filip Aanicăi who took care of the corner kick. Andrei Oloieru made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Panait Voina sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Traian Traian put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian. But to his dismay, Traian Traian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Traian Traian took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Rito in the 33rd minute of play. Mădălin Lunca came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian. But to his dismay, Traian Traian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Andrei Oloieru successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dorel Balint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Andrei Oloieru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Panait Voina to make the kick off. Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Raureni Academy from getting a goal against them. Mădălin Lunca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Traian Traian's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mădălin Lunca firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 57th minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Traian Traian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mădălin Lunca. Mădălin Lunca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Traian Traian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mădălin Lunca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Rito in the 66th minute of play. Wellington Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Gică Hăulică was substituted for Gil Fernandez. With an all-out effort, Fotbal Club Vaslui's Mădălin Lunca threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Feliberto Rito, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cornel Manciulea succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Cosmin Bocșan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Raureni Academy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filip Aanicăi was slow to take the kick. During this time Fotbal Club Vaslui's players had a chance to rest. In the 83rdth minute of the game Traian Traian who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mădălin Lunca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Traian Traian in the 84th minute. Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Traian Traian in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Raureni Academy's Doru Alexandroae seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Doru Alexandroae the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Raureni Academy protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Doru Alexandroae had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raureni Academy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! In the 95th minute Wellington Neves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Lunca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Fotbal Club Vaslui left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Raureni Academy.
