Bogdan Ignătoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zvonimir Prestin's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zvonimir Prestin in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Ignătoiu saved -BZF- Barca de Buzau from getting behind. In the 8th minute PoWer SC 2K5 were awarded a corner. Matthew Wagner went to the cornerflag to take it. Bogdan Ignătoiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Todor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leroy Kluttig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Manuel Drăgănoiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute of the match, Denis Pumnu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Rotariu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu got control of the ball when Manuel Drăgănoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Drăgănoiu got free with David Rotariu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zvonimir Prestin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bogdan Ignătoiu having to make a save. In the 43rd minute Manuel Drăgănoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Drăgănoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of -BZF- Barca de Buzau booed when PoWer SC 2K5 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Förster didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Zvonimir Prestin made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Denis Pumnu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viorel Bungescu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Zvonimir Prestin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Ignătoiu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Jonas Klinsmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bogdan Ignătoiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Klinsmann ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kai Förster hit a great ball. Jonas Klinsmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bogdan Ignătoiu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to -BZF- Barca de Buzau getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Valer Andriescu hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Förster to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute PoWer SC 2K5 were awarded a corner. Matthew Wagner went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led PoWer SC 2K5's Matthew Wagner to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Ignătoiu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Pumnu in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 89th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, Manuel Drăgănoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, -BZF- Barca de Buzau could leave the field as winners, despite PoWer SC 2K5 having more of the ball for most of the match.
