Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 30th minute of the match. When Zhao Sen Yang came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Sen Yang couldn't finish the play. Mădălin Lunca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 34th minute of the match. At last the ball reached İlhami Akyazıcı at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Raureni Academy. 0-3. If Zhao Sen Yang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Raureni Academy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olov Ahlbeck took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Olov Ahlbeck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mădălin Lunca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Udrea in the 45th minute of play. The Raureni Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zhao Sen Yang to make the kick off. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zhao Sen Yang recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Emil Wielopolski was substituted for Grigore Maghiran. Mugur Udrea was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.
