The Kobra TEAM fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Kobra TEAM's Ionică Lucescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 15th match minute, PoWer SC 2K5 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Todor to maneuver through the defense. Amauri Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Aristides Paiva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Rotariu came out of the goal and Aristides Paiva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ionică Lucescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Rotariu was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Liviu Cristocea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Rotariu. PoWer SC 2K5's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Cristocea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Lopes in the 33rd minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Amauri Lopes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zvonimir Prestin made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Leroy Kluttig managed to get in a good position for a shot. The PoWer SC 2K5 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kobra TEAM's performance. The match ended with a win for Kobra TEAM.
