The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Wiktoria Zajafka's goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Sylwester Domeradzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sylwester Domeradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, Wiktoria Zajafka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Drebit to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Wiktoria Zajafka defense, Zhao Sen Yang kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sylwester Domeradzki. The Wiktoria Zajafka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sylwester Domeradzki should have stopped the shot. Sylwester Domeradzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Olov Ahlbeck in the 19th minute. After taking down the ball on Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s corner Olov Ahlbeck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sylwester Domeradzki quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Žiška. In the 29thth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diki Doro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Žiška in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki. Sylwester Domeradzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sylwester Domeradzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylwester Domeradzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Wiktoria Zajafka's goalie and right to İlhami Akyazıcı. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Wiktoria Zajafka's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. İlhami Akyazıcı hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wiktoria Zajafka's zone, Zhao Sen Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylwester Domeradzki came out of the goal and Zhao Sen Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Patrik Tørnstrøm hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. When Primitivo Grau came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Grau couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sylwester Domeradzki was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Wiktoria Zajafka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Tørnstrøm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Wiktoria Zajafka from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Zhao Sen Yang made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Domeradzki. Wiktoria Zajafka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 69th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Iftode to maneuver through the defense. Petre Iftode could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sylwester Domeradzki made a huge save. Martin Žiška took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diki Doro. Diki Doro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Sylwester Domeradzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Emil Wielopolski hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Wiktoria Zajafka's Sylwester Domeradzki got control of the ball when Primitivo Grau tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sylwester Domeradzki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Grau in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, one of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-. Jurand Fujara hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Sylwester Domeradzki acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olov Ahlbeck. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
