A collision led to Raureni Academy getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eliodor Timofte hit a great ball. Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Lupașcu in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Andrei Cozaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Drăgănoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Valer Andriescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Barca de Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Bogdan Ignătoiu got control of the ball when Dorel Balint tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Drăgănoiu in the 39th minute of play forced Raureni Academy's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's Manuel Drăgănoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Flori Miner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. -BZF- Barca de Buzau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raureni Academy the free kick. 47 minutes into the match, Raureni Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Drăgănoiu came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Raureni Academy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. -BZF- Barca de Buzau were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nichifor Aelenei stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Nichifor Aelenei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Ignătoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raureni Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristinel Tomozei in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Cristinel Tomozei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bogdan Ignătoiu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Denis Pumnu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th match minute, -BZF- Barca de Buzau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Andriescu to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Aelenei in the 57th minute of play. Manuel Drăgănoiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Mădălin Lunca made a huge save. Mădălin Lunca made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Manuel Drăgănoiu sent off a good shot on target. After 65 minutes Raureni Academy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maxim Lupașcu who took care of the corner kick. Manuel Drăgănoius short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Mădălin Lunca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 78th minute of the match Andrei Cozaru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bogdan Ignătoiu skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Balint in the 84th minute of play forced -BZF- Barca de Buzau's goalkeeper Bogdan Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Manuel Drăgănoiu made a precise shot to the right of Mădălin Lunca. Raureni Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a little luck, Raureni Academy's Mădălin Lunca got control of the ball when Manuel Drăgănoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line.
