Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Pipon Pipon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Pipon Pipon's zone, Gijsbert ter Kruimer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Wim Wilmes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Jannes Ruttens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Al Whatley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jannes Ruttens came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Lars Meesters. But to his dismay, Lars Meesters quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Figueroa in the 36th minute of play. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Cesario Irazu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Cesario Irazu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Bas Tuitert got a free kick in the 45th minute. Jannes Ruttens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nicky Bryson to make the kick off. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Pipon Pipon from getting a goal against them. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Figueroa in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Cesario Irazu came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh was substituted for Francesco Figueroa. After 68 played minutes C. A. Pipon Pipon got a freekick which was hit by Ronalds Koeman. The corner led to Netherlands's Lars Meesters getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jannes Ruttens could save by the left post. In the 78th minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 80th minute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malcolm McIntosh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicky Bryson in the 92nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jannes Ruttens having to interfere. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
