In the 5th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Rusil to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cláudio das Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bohumir Kohout to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Dida Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vavrinec Holub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldo Alcântara. Tomé Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Dostal, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bohumir Kohout charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bohumir Kohout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Bohumir Kohout. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dedé Paiva got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Vavrinec Holub. 35 minutes into the game, Sidnei Bertassi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferreira Lopes MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czech Republic the free kick. Sidnei Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Ferreira Lopes MZC's Tomé Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Rezek in the 39th minute of play. Dida Teixeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. When David Rusil fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave David Rusil a yellow card for diving instead. David Rusil kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Svatopluk Capek got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Sidnei Bertassi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Sidnei Bertassi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erik Jilek was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Dida Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dida Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 56 minutes into the match, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Luka Beaugendre kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Tomé Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 67th minute of the match. Ronaldo Alcântara scored 8-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dida Teixeira took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dida Teixeira. But to his dismay, Dida Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. Tomé Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 86th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 88th minute of play. Svatopluk Capek made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Denis Dostal however managed to control. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bohumir Kohout didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dedé Paiva tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ferreira Lopes MZC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
