An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 28th minute of play forced NECKER49's goalkeeper Maximino Hitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denmark's Chris Nygaard was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maximino Hitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Oriano Junco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Oriano Junco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When NECKER49's Francisco Jakobe in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Tiburcio Argina made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Victor Ortle tried to sneak it across the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Jakobe. In the 47th minute, Victor Ortle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chris Nygaard stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. In the 60th match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Astor Arias to maneuver through the defense. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Victor Ortle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Sten Vallman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olav Graversen during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Olav Graversen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NECKER49's Valentin Policarpio was substituted for Victor Ortle. After 76 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Olav Graversen. 77 minutes into the game, Francisco Jakobe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Keld Paulsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 87 minutes on the clock, Simon Bendtsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of NECKER49:s goal. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Hegoi went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Tiburcio Argina made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The NECKER49 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Denmark had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
