Klement Trochowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Klement Trochowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haşmet Vahdettin in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TC☆ Maşallah 1 F.C™'s Kristoffer Falker. Kristoffer Falker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the game, Portugal's Felipe Barreto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kristoffer Falker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacek Krzynowek in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Trochowski came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Jacek Krzynowek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Trochowski in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Jacek Krzynowek notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viriato Moura to make the kick off. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klement Trochowski in the 55th minute of the match. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. In the 76th minute, Jacek Krzynowek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. Graciano Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristoffer Falker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Trochowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, TC☆ Maşallah 1 F.C™'s İskender Adar made it 7-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Portugal defense, İskender Adar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. TC☆ Maşallah 1 F.C™'s Kristoffer Falker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save TC☆ Maşallah 1 F.C™ from getting a goal against them. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
