Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Donato Foddis made a huge save. Donato Foddis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 55th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Foddis saved AC Collins from getting behind. In the 56th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. AC Collins's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Netherlands's Lars Meesters to fire away a dangerous shot which Donato Foddis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Donato Foddis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 65th minute of play. AC Collins's Donato Foddis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 66th minute of play. Donato Foddis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mel Önen in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Wim Wilmes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donato Foddis. That made the score 0-3 after 77 minutes of play. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Donato Foddis was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Lars Meesters capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Meesters really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. The AC Collins fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
