In the 10th minute, Edgardo Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The New England Minas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute of play. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Yves Dervaux came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Edgardo Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Edgardo Silva scored 3-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Jeremy Nicholas in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. New England Minas's Emmitt Benson was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Edgardo Silva. New England Minas made a substitution. Hipolito Emenon replaced Jörgen Frohm. In the 64th minute New England Minas were awarded a corner. Glen Conklin went to the cornerflag to take it. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tio Lio went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Tio Lio came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tony Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. New England Minas were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Belgium for a fine match.
