After some careless play in the Real Ayuntamiento CF defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vicente Berto. The Real Ayuntamiento CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vicente Berto should have stopped the shot. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Berto having to interfere. When Edward Vanderstraeten came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Belgium fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edward Vanderstraeten couldn't finish the play. Vicente Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Real Ayuntamiento CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Brun to maneuver through the defense. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Vicente Berto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Sabbe in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Berto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Berto having to interfere. Vicente Berto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute of the match. Vicente Berto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Real Ayuntamiento CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty!
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximiliano Libertad made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Real Ayuntamiento CF's Maximiliano Libertad got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vicente Berto, 0-5. In the 60th minute, Atilano Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Ayuntamiento CF's Vicente Berto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Real Ayuntamiento CF from getting a goal against them. Vicente Berto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 64th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Vicente Berto in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Yves Dervaux hit a great ball. Floris Claeys kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vicente Berto, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marcos Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Ayuntamiento CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vicente Berto made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Real Ayuntamiento CF's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Vicente Berto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Berto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Berto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Berto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 88th minute of play. After 90th play minutes Edward Vanderstraeten shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Vicente Berto and just under the crossbar into goal. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th minute, Marcos Licerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
