S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Mario Pochekanski was substituted for Benedykt Pankiewicz. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mario Pochekanski made a kick off. Esen Sanal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 79th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esen Sanal came out and tried to block the shot, but Edward Vanderstraeten slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Lenny Clocheret got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Belgium's Yves Dervaux ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Esen Sanal. Esen Sanal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Lei Feng Yan missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Casper Claes right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belgium eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
