Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nestor Tesone started the match with the kick off. With an all-out effort, Los Laguneros de AT's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nestor Tesone, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 6 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Simon Hori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nestor Tesone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabio Nabar might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnout Reekers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Nabar ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, Los Laguneros de AT's Nestor Tesone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Simon Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of play. Simon Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 35th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Nestor Tesone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Simon Hori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Wim Wilmes took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Simon Hori to make any attempt to save it. Nestor Tesone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Tesone in the 65th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Nestor Tesone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Simon Hori when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juan Bixintxo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 82nd play minutes Lars Meesters shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Simon Hori and just under the crossbar into goal. Simon Hori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 89th minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Simon Hori made a huge save. 97 minutes into the game, Cihan Baydar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Laguneros de AT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Cihan Baydar hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
