Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fulgencio Ferrer sent off a good shot on target. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Daniel Igon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd play minute Fulgencio Ferrer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tommy Kahn. 2-0. A hard shot 30 in the game by Fulgencio Ferrer from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Gorosti in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fulgencio Ferrer made a kick off. After 51 minutes, Ladislao Fraco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campeones del Mundo and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 52nd minute of play. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Ferrer's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Fulgencio Ferrer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th minute, Guillermo Gorosti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Campeones del Mundo's Fulgencio Ferrer in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Daniel Igon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Campeones del Mundo getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rosendo Bide hit a great ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Igon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 83rd minute of play. Germany's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frank Sachs in the 84th minute. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Fulgencio Ferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fulgencio Ferrer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Germany's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
