Șerban Nanu's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Nanu helped the player get up and apologised. FC Fanaticii's Andrei Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Peletier in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihai Măliță in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Quentin Beaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Apostu to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, FC Fanaticii's Mihai Măliță ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Gică Curcă kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Mihai Măliță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Fanaticii getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Francisc Ciocâlteu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Eric Apostu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Fanaticii's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Apostu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Curcă to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Mihai Măliță managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Fanaticii's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihai Măliță was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrei Pavel having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrei Pavel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Robert Chapuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Pavel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute France were awarded a corner. David Barbier went to the cornerflag to take it. France's David Barbier was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrei Pavel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A hard shot 59 in the game by Frank Peletier from a close distance when the talented Andrei Pavel managed to make a qualified save. FC Fanaticii's players were relieved. In the 63rd match minute, FC Fanaticii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisc Ciocâlteu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 64 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When David Barbier fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored France's protests and gave David Barbier a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by David Barbier. 73 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. 75 minutes into the game, Camille Baume recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Andrei Pavel. Andrei Pavel made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Camille Baume sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Fanaticii's Eusebiu Oanță got a free kick in the 89th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Andrei Pavel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Andrei Pavel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, FC Fanaticii's goalkeeper Andrei Pavel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier.
