Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermanno Puglielli couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ermanno Puglielli took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Fredrik Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Barreto scored 2-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Backman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 29th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fredrik Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zachary Matuch went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Portugal's attentive Bruno Bastos managed to snatch the ball when Cornelio Combarros made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. Fredrik Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredrik Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Wisła Kraków defense, Caetano Moreira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fredrik Backman. The Wisła Kraków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fredrik Backman should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachary Matuch during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zachary Matuch hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ermanno Puglielli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Felipe Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrik Backman came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Falk in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Hugon Falk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugon Falk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Hugon Falk took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. The supporters of Portugal booed when Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Combarros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute Ermanno Puglielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fredrik Backman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermanno Puglielli in the 87th minute of play. When Ermanno Puglielli fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wisła Kraków's protests and gave Ermanno Puglielli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermanno Puglielli to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Combarros hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Fredrik Backman made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
