SiTomanBoy´s's James Novak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Graciano Coutinho in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, SiTomanBoy´s's Hernán Torrejón sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Almeida in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by SiTomanBoy´s's Sérgio Vidal. James Novak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Hernán Torrejón who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Torrejón in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Hernán Torrejón shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Toninho Guerreiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Toninho Guerreiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toninho Guerreiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
