The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fredrik Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viriato Moura in the 12th minute of play forced Wisła Kraków's goalkeeper Fredrik Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermanno Puglielli in the 14th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 29th minute. The corner ended in Caetano Moreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wisła Kraków's Fredrik Backman did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Backman saved Wisła Kraków from getting behind. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredrik Backman having to make a save. Fredrik Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 37th minute of the match. When Wisła Kraków's Ermanno Puglielli in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Gwidon Bambas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermanno Puglielli struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wisła Kraków. The throw-in from Fabricio Andrade in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wisła Kraków's Zenon Mitus. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Matuch in the 60th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 64th minute of the game was made by Fabricio Andrade with Caetano Moreira as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 68 minutes into the match, Ermanno Puglielli notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Hugon Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Fredrik Backman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Daniel Pimentel took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fredrik Backman. Fredrik Backman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hugon Falk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Bruno Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Fredrik Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Ermanno Puglielli notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fredrik Backman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
