Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) 7 minutes into the match, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aquiles Gana might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Gana ran back to his position shaking his head. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Gana in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The AC Morena fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when AC Morena's Aquiles Gana looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jean Bombelles hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jean Bombelles made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AC Morena's Aldo Di Biagio. The supporters of France booed when AC Morena was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquiles Gana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Aquiles Gana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Aldo Di Biagio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute, Aquiles Gana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Morena fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as AC Morena's Aquiles Gana slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxime Durand. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aquiles Gana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxime Durand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Aquiles Gana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. France's Robert Chapuis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fortunato Orlandi in the 67 minute of the game. AC Morena's Cristoforo Labate was substituted for Aldo Di Biagio. A sloppy throw-in by Robert Chapuis in the 72nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC Morena's Ercole Carosella. When Aquiles Gana came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AC Morena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Gana couldn't finish the play. AC Morena's Dražen Ladić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AC Morena from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Gana took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After a rather tough play, France's Jean Bombelles got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Aquiles Gana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxime Durand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquiles Gana went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. France's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
