Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Wilson Amorim made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Tony Thanos sent off a good shot on target. Gelu Cozmâncă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Phillip Hunt was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Ibiza's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Portugal booed when Club Ibiza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Đỗ Remi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Thanos got free with Wilson Amorim in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Club Ibiza's Phillip Hunt to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 14 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Graciano Coutinho. If Tony Thanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Pimentel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 23rd minute by Tony Thanos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 24 minutes into the game, Club Ibiza's Edgardo Cosca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Ibiza's attentive Phillip Hunt managed to snatch the ball when Faustino Almeida made a throw-in in the 38th minute of the game. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Ibiza's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. During this time Portugal's players had a chance to rest. 42 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rene Higuita. Club Ibiza's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caetano Moreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Fonso made a kick off. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 53rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Caetano Moreira immediately put the ball in play. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 56th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Higuita was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Bruno Fonso sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Club Ibiza's Bala Veloz was substituted for Tony Thanos. Bala Veloz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Bala Veloz hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Faustino Asprilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 70th minute of play. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 72nd minute of play. Faustino Asprilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. The corner led Portugal's Daniel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Rene Higuita despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 79th minute of the match. Faustino Asprilla might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faustino Asprilla ran back to his position shaking his head. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustino Asprilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 81st minute, Faustino Asprilla made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. 84 minutes into the match, Faustino Asprilla notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Pimentel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Rene Higuita made a huge save. Rene Higuita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Club Ibiza's goalkeeper Rene Higuita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolomeu Dias. The supporters of Club Ibiza booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Ibiza's Faustino Asprilla. But to his dismay, Faustino Asprilla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-3. Club Ibiza's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
