Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zoltán Kozák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Zoltán Kozák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Pucheli, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, FlagellumDei's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Siro Osasun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siro Osasun having to make a save. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FlagellumDei's goalkeeper Siro Osasun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 89th minute of the match, Balazs Lajos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Siro Osasun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Hungary booed when FlagellumDei was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vencel Sarkady didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute Zoltán Kozák shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
