Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Paulo Lara. In the 6th minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Pereira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Eusébio Marquez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Dalmo Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmo Hoffmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zé Paulo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Vinhas struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Werneck FC - DMZ. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sven Krakouer hit a great ball. When Caio Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Werneck FC - DMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio Ceresso couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caio Ceresso, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Mergenthaler during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 39 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Frank Sachs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Werneck FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Werneck FC - DMZ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmo Hoffmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusébio Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Werneck FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but José Carlos Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusébio Marquez charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Marquez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Carlos Pereira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Marquez. After a defensive mix-up in Werneck FC - DMZ's zone, Ulrich Stein stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Carlos Pereira came out of the goal and Ulrich Stein tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Carlos Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Carlos Pereira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Pereira having to interfere. During the 83rd minute of the match Albin Holweck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Albin Holweck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Carlos Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After a rather tough play, Werneck FC - DMZ's Zé Paulo Lara got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 96 played minutes Werneck FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Zé Paulo Lara. When the match was over Germany could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Werneck FC - DMZ throughout the match.
