Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Rojas came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match, Abdulla Baia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavio Vittori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Riemer Ax made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Dani Rojas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Siricio Liotta kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Abdulla Baia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulla Baia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dani Rojas in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Dani Rojas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Siricio Liotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Vereijt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the game Riemer Ax made a throw-in which Abdulla Baia played forward. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rene Vereijt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 44th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Rene Vereijt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 46th minute of the match.

After a rather tough play, FC Ouagadougou National's Karim Sia got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 61st minute Gustavo Arrelucea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Arrelucea took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 69th minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 72nd minute of play. The throw-in from Riemer Ax in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdulla Baia in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Italy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dani Rojas was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ouagadougou National's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on FC Ouagadougou National's corner Dani Rojas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. If Gianpaolo Mascari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. When FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. Hamza Yavaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Vittori having to interfere. Rene Vereijt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Italy got a corner. FC Ouagadougou National's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Adriano Curto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rene Vereijt quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. FC Ouagadougou National's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
