Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Badia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by PERSPOLIS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that PERSPOLIS's Edgar Badia managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, PERSPOLIS's Facundo Feria got a free kick in the 11th minute. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Edgar Badia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind PERSPOLIS's goalkeeper Edgar Badia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Germany booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Uplegger didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Emiliano Quintero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emiliano Quintero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match PERSPOLIS got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Carceles ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Constantino Salgado advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-0 in the 39th minute. Axel Uplegger hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emiliano Quintero was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Quintero in the 56th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by PERSPOLIS's Emiliano Quintero. But to his dismay, Emiliano Quintero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Bela Herrero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PERSPOLIS made a substitution. Ekialde Nadal replaced Facundo Feria. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Edgar Badia made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Ganix in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Ekialde Nadal came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cipriano Ganix put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Herrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cipriano Ganix in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 79th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Carceles, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Cipriano Ganix made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bela Herrero in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Bela Herrero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PERSPOLIS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Cipriano Ganix struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PERSPOLIS. Cipriano Ganix took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. There was no doubt that PERSPOLIS were the better team. PERSPOLIS's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
