A very good chance. The supporters of Loja S.C. booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Issac Dawson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half England were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Atilano Rojas made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Fabricio Vedeja left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loja S.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. England may have spent more time on the ball, but Loja S.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
