Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Sachs got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Uplegger to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Facundo Feria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the last second Tommy Kahn throw himself and got hold of the ball when Emiliano Quintero in the 10thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Constantino Salgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Badia saved PERSPOLIS from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Sachs in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Badia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Edgar Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute, Emiliano Quintero made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 30th match minute, PERSPOLIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bela Herrero to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Badia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 38 minutes into the game, Facundo Feria lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Kahn. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Yiyo Esperta hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bela Herrero in the 47th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emiliano Quintero to strike the kick off in the second half. Emiliano Quintero took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. 66 minutes into the game, PERSPOLIS's Cipriano Ganix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bela Herrero in the 71st minute of play. After 72 minutes, Ulrich Stein mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the PERSPOLIS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Ulrich Stein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PERSPOLIS's Bela Herrero got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute Cipriano Ganix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Honorio Carceles hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Cipriano Ganix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cipriano Ganix's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, PERSPOLIS's Honorio Carceles tried to score from far away in the 90th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PERSPOLIS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
