Sebastian Ter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Xavier Gallagher cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Sebastian Ter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Loja S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Xavier Gallagher came free, but Sebastian Ter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Ter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Issac Dawson in the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. A hard shot 31 in the game by Benjamin Eibar from a close distance when the talented Khalid Kennedy managed to make a qualified save. England's players were relieved. In the 33rdth minute of the game Kyle Cox who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loja S.C.'s Sebastian Ter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Gallagher. Loja S.C.'s Sebastian Ter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 39th minute of play. Sebastian Ter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 44th minute of play. If Issac Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Ter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caelan Hayes kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Sebastian Ter was a little too slow when Kyle Cox got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Rodriguez Cean hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. England's Micah Macdonald got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of England booed when Loja S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Viego didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, Loja S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguez Cean to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, England's Sebastian Ter threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Issac Dawson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match was over England could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Loja S.C. throughout the match.
