When Zula Dytrych came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Buldogi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zula Dytrych couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 34th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 68 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. Aleksander Liberko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buldogi's Saturnino Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Buldogi from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buldogi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Aleksander Liberko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 87th minute Buldogi were awarded a corner. Emil Kapera went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Buldogi booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Szczepan Ferfecki kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
