Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Marco Pero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Pero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Marco Pero came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Academia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Pero couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Marco Pero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tiburcio Gaueko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Academia FC's Tiburcio Gaueko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 21st minute of play. Portugal's Felipe Barreto managed to work through Academia FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Felipe Barreto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The crowd rose to their feet as Marco Pero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiburcio Gaueko having to make a save. In the 28th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Academia FC's Marco Pero in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felipe Barreto in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiburcio Gaueko saved Academia FC from getting behind. Marco Pero might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marco Pero ran back to his position shaking his head. Tiburcio Gaueko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Pero got free with Wilson Amorim in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Portugal booed when Academia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiburcio Gaueko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipe Barreto went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Felipe Barreto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 59th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Pimentel took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Gaueko. Tiburcio Gaueko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. With an all-out effort, Portugal's Tiburcio Gaueko threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Daniel Pimentel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 65th match minute, Academia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Magdaleno to maneuver through the defense. Academia FC made a substitution. Aurelio Soin replaced Marco Pero. Academia FC's Jairo Nuxila was substituted for Adan Haimar. After 67 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Magdaleno. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Pimentel got free with Tiburcio Gaueko in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia FC's Aurelio Soin. But to his dismay, Aurelio Soin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Tiburcio Gaueko made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Bartolomeu Dias sent off a good shot on target. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Soin in the 83rd minute of play. Tiburcio Gaueko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 85th minute of play. Tiburcio Gaueko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolomeu Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Soin went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Academia FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
