In the 9th match minute, Cremonese FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Lago to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Frank Peletier made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Ortiz. Cremonese FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Tróia in the 15th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio Ortiz. Cremonese FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Peletier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Ortiz having to interfere. In the 37th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Tróia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Tróia was the one to do the kick off. Cremonese FC's Dráusio Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Barbier in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Cremonese FC's goalkeeper Dráusio Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. Cremonese FC's Dráusio Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Cremonese FC from getting a goal against them. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Dráusio Ortiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from József Albert, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Dráusio Ortiz made a huge save. Dida Tróia scored 1-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cremonese FC made a substitution. Valdo Ramalho replaced József Albert. After a defensive mix-up in Cremonese FC's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dráusio Ortiz came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Tróia in the 85th minute of the match. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dráusio Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The France players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
