Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gabriele Batistuta got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Almeida. 6 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. In the 6th play minute Gabriele Batistuta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wilson Amorim. 1-0. 9 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 14th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Gabriele Batistuta rounded Portugal's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 35 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Batistuta. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriele Batistuta took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Menchu FC from getting a goal against them. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Moreira in the 53rd minute of play. Gabriele Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 56th minute Gabriele Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Felipe Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Batistuta in the 69th minute of the match. Viriato Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Menchu FC made a substitution. Herbert Pilarski replaced Uriel Gorri. Menchu FC made a substitution. Mayer Candelo replaced Peter Söderqwist. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Viriato Moura hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriele Batistuta went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Felipinho Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Camilo Salvidor having to make a save. Camilo Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Gabriele Batistuta put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Menchu FC made a substitution. Armando Roland replaced Siro Osasun. Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camilo Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Menchu FC.
