The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, AC Milan Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Redisz came free, but Codrin Barbăneagră reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC MCM's Elodio Ghinescu got a free kick in the 14th minute. A hard shot 16 in the game by Elodio Ghinescu from a close distance when the talented Codrin Barbăneagră managed to make a qualified save. AC Milan Tigers's players were relieved. Elodio Ghinescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Codrin Barbăneagră made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Elodio Ghinescu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Codrin Barbăneagră. Elodio Ghinescu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 27th minute Radomil Redisz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Radomil Redisz took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Codrin Barbăneagră to make any attempt to save it. In the 34th minute Bogdan Sârban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Tufescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Radomil Redisz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute of the match, Radomil Redisz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Manuel Tufescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Răuţă in the 41st minute of the match. FC MCM's Manuel Tufescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcu Cruceru in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Răuţă came free, but Manuel Tufescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radomil Redisz to strike the kick off in the second half. Codrin Barbăneagră came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC MCM's Radomil Redisz. But to his dismay, Radomil Redisz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Codrin Barbăneagră showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elodio Ghinescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, FC MCM's goalkeeper Manuel Tufescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Răuţă. In the 67th match minute, AC Milan Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Mirea to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Jupâneanu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codrin Barbăneagră. AC Milan Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 72nd minute Bogdan Agusoaei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Barbăneagră saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of AC Milan Tigers booed when FC MCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elodio Ghinescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Tufescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Cruceru in the 87th minute of the match. Codrin Barbăneagră took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomil Redisz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Radomil Redisz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MCM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2.
