Creekers's attentive Marat Beroshvili managed to snatch the ball when Cesar Cornelius made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. Ladislao Gines struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Tom Riddle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Creekers. Ellis Hoskin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Jude Crocker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Australian Youth Academy defense, Ksawery Tyszka kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Riddle. The Australian Youth Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Riddle should have stopped the shot. Jude Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garth Brough in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Crocker saved Creekers from getting behind. After having played for 37 minutes, Ladislao Gines managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creekers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Gines was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Gines in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Riddle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Uku Karju in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Australian Youth Academy's Roy Baba. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ladislao Gines to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Garth Brough could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Jude Crocker however easily saved by the left post. In the 54th minute Australian Youth Academy were awarded a corner. Cesar Cornelius went to the cornerflag to take it. Roy Baba made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Creekers's William Kerns. If Riley Trotter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Baba in the 61st minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Jude Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Australian Youth Academy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Cornelius in the 62nd minute. After taking down the ball on Australian Youth Academy's corner Cesar Cornelius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jude Crocker quite easily take care of the ball. When Fletcher Baba came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fletcher Baba couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Creekers's goal looked a bit too open when Ellis Hoskin came free, but Jude Crocker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fletcher Baba came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Australian Youth Academy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fletcher Baba couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the game, Creekers's Riley Trotter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Riddle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. If Garth Brough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Creekers booed when Australian Youth Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Cornelius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Australian Youth Academy's Tom Riddle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Riley Trotter in the 80th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Baba in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jude Crocker saved Creekers from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Riley Trotter in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Riddle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Riley Trotter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tom Riddle was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Jude Crocker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fletcher Baba, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Tom Riddle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Riley Trotter in the 87th minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, Riley Trotter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tom Riddle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 89 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Roy Baba. Tom Riddle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Riley Trotter in the 96th minute of the match.
