In the 4th minute Garth Brough shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Layton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Australian Youth Academy getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jason Butterfield hit a great ball. Hermengildo Mambru made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Garth Brough immediately put the ball in play. In the 16th minute Carlo Darrigrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Riddle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Carlo Darrigrande in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A sloppy throw-in by Johnathan Douglas in the 22nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Australian Youth Academy's Rufus Roach. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlo Darrigrande in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Riddle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Roy Baba in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Edward Kaczor. If Carlo Darrigrande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Australian Youth Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Carlo Darrigrande came free, but Tom Riddle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlo Darrigrande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tom Riddle having to make a save. Tom Riddle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlo Darrigrande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Australian Youth Academy got a freekick which was hit by Roy Baba. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carlo Darrigrande to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rufus Roach during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Australian Youth Academy's Cesar Cornelius got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Australian Youth Academy's Fletcher Baba was substituted for Gabriel Martini. The audience was convinced that Fletcher Baba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roberto Layton was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Bogumil Gierasik quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cesar Cornelius, made in the 89th minute of the game. Roberto Layton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fletcher Baba in the 91st minute of the match. Augustin Amurăriței hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Peter Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tom Riddle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
