After a rather tough play, Pilar FC's Aukusti Malinen got a free kick in the 14th minute. Sixto Luke made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Stacy Doll sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Stacy Doll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sixto Luke. Pilar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stacy Doll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Candido Hendrickx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julián Valla was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Candido Hendrickx in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The throw-in from Federico Di Tullio in the 68th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pilar FC's Guus Koole. Candido Hendrickx might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julián Valla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Candido Hendrickx ran back to his position shaking his head. Julián Valla made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Candido Hendrickx sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Evaristo Cordareo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pilar FC's Sixto Luke. Sixto Luke was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pilar FC's Luca Langoni was substituted for Martin Benítez. Pilar FC made a substitution.
