Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Thor Forssberg sent off a good shot on target. After 8 minutes of play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Thor Forssberg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Kenn Skou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Quintyn. Thor Forssberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. Denmark's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Thor Forssberg scored to the left of an out of position Keld Paulsen, making the score, 2-0. In the 25th minute, Thor Forssberg made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Sebastian Berto fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's protests and gave Sebastian Berto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Sebastian Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Denmark booed when A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Quintyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Bertram Svenningsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Jax. A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bertram Svenningsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 35 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Hunfredo. Raul Jax showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 36th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 38th minute of play forced A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goalkeeper Raul Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raul Jax came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Forssberg in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes A.D Atlético Villa Gesell got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Hunfredo. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Raul Jax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

In the 53rd match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thor Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Raul Jax reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raul Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Pereyra in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Mascovescu to maneuver through the defense. Raul Jax made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 68th minute. The throw-in from Genaro Quintyn in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. After 74 minutes, Aureliano Hunfredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.D Atlético Villa Gesell and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to A.D Atlético Villa Gesell getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aureliano Hunfredo hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Bertram Svenningsen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raul Jax. That made the score 3-3 in the 75 minute of play. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Forssberg in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Kenn Skou. Aureliano Hunfredo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Denmark's attentive Lars Steen managed to snatch the ball when Genaro Quintyn made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, A.D Atlético Villa Gesell's Alejo Loren got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The long shot by Chris Nygaard in the 94th minute really tested Raul Jax's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
