Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sandro Galishoff kicked off to start the match. Teun Ceustermans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Schneider, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marvin Harrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teun Ceustermans having to interfere. After some careless play in the Eendracht Vooruit defense, Fabio Schneider kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teun Ceustermans. The Eendracht Vooruit fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teun Ceustermans should have stopped the shot. Marvin Harrer made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Eendracht Vooruit's Dre Tombeurs. Eendracht Vooruit's Adam Beckers quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marc Kronecker, made in the 29th minute of the game. Eendracht Vooruit's Arthur Clijsters managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nico Waismann in the 31 minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Marc Kronecker in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eendracht Vooruit's Adam Beckers. After 34 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Nalder. In the 36th minute, Sandro Galishoff hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Harrer came free, but Teun Ceustermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teun Ceustermans came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Austria's Fabio Schneider. But to his dismay, Fabio Schneider quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Eendracht Vooruit's Teun Ceustermans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Eendracht Vooruit from getting a goal against them. Eendracht Vooruit's attentive Adam Beckers managed to snatch the ball when Nico Waismann made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Austria's Leonhard Maier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. 73 minutes into the game, Jonas Nalder threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eendracht Vooruit's Paulus Volders quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Teun Ceustermans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marvin Harrer went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabio Schneider kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Teun Ceustermans. That made the score 0-7 in the 80 minute of play. Paulus Volders kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 93 minutes, Emil Seidler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Austria and the Eendracht Vooruit players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Austria's Emil Seidler got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Austria eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
