When the match had been going on for 4 minutes Antal Valentin shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by 龙挺卫 when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. Endrik Fuchs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Fodor Daniel 9 minutes into the match. Bakos Endre made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Antal Valentin. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 龙挺卫 having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when Vejbystrand was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Sellberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙挺卫 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 龙挺卫 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Endrik Fuchs in the 28th minute. Endrik Fuchs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Vejbystrand's Endrik Fuchs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 35th minute, Kennet Sävström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Simon Tomasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kennet Sävström in the 39th minute. After 41 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Vörös Henrik. After 45 played minutes Vejbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Simon Tomasson. After having played for 46 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kennet Sävström was the one to do the kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kennet Sävström in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Vejbystrand's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Vejbystrand's David Rosendahl got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the game, Kennet Sävström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kennet Sävström, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Vejbystrand got a corner. Hungary's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lars Bergqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Lars Bergqvist got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 87 played minutes Vejbystrand got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Nordlund. Vejbystrand made a substitution. Harald Ennegren replaced Endrik Fuchs. In the 89th minute, Bernt Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Sävström in the 91st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
