After having played for 3 minutes, Stamen Tekeliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 10th minute of play forced FC Cavia Pyskowice's goalkeeper Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Viriato Moura had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia. FC Cavia Pyskowice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Viriato Moura was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 19th minute, Stamen Tekeliev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Cavia Pyskowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Stamen Tekeliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 33 minutes FC Cavia Pyskowice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Felipe Barreto who took care of the corner kick. Portugal's Felipe Barreto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 42nd minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With an all-out effort, Portugal's Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caetano Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, FC Cavia Pyskowice's Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stamen Tekeliev in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Amorim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. FC Cavia Pyskowice made a substitution. It was a well-played corner which Edinho Cerezo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 83 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Miska Cavia came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Portugal were awarded a corner. Daniel Pimentel went to the cornerflag to take it. Miska Cavia kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Miska Cavia came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Miska Cavia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cavia Pyskowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miska Cavia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ahmet-Sela-Yunus-Emre Cavia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. FC Cavia Pyskowice's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
