The Randers A.F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederik Faurbye should have stopped the shot. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederik Faurbye having to make a save. 13 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederik Faurbye made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Forthoft didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Major Barna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederik Faurbye having to make a save. Frederik Faurbye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 28th minute of the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Svenning Westin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. After having played for 40 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Frederik Faurbye. Randers A.F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Frederik Faurbye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Faurbye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hungary booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Ingels didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Boros Benedek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederik Faurbye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Major Barna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Frederik Faurbye. The goal made the score 0-5. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frederik Faurbye was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Takacs Tibor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Keld Dons hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Takacs Tibor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Frederik Faurbye took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
