Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. After 11 minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mänsur Rzayev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Mänsur Rzayev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Şamaxı Bankirlər was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezary Pierz to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd match minute, Şamaxı Bankirlər was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Mänsur Rzayev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ortzi Calzado took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Arnout Reekers to make any attempt to save it. Mänsur Rzayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Şamaxı Bankirlər's Mänsur Rzayev managed to reach the ball for a save. After having played for 34 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Meesters might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mänsur Rzayev. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lars Meesters ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sälim Mahmudov in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ortzi Calzado to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Şamaxı Bankirlər was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tolek Dankowski to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mänsur Rzayev having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Dankowski in the 59th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Mänsur Rzayev made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Mänsur Rzayev made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 67th minute. Mänsur Rzayev was a little too slow when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 2-1. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Joel Löfgren got a free kick in the 75th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mänsur Rzayev. That made the score 2-2 in the 80 minute of play. Şamaxı Bankirlər's Ryszard Kilar was substituted for Joel Löfgren. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolek Dankowski in the 88th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mänsur Rzayev. Şamaxı Bankirlər's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Dankowski in the 95th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Şamaxı Bankirlər.
