Hungary's Fodor Daniel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Hungary from getting a goal against them. 12 minutes into the match, Dawid Kochowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dawid Kochowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 16 minutes into the match, Salmiyah Power's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Boncho Vlúchkov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Doctor Quinn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 91st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Salmiyah Power's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mamaar Fergani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. The Salmiyah Power players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
