Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hartmann Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Hungary's Balazs Norbert was substituted for Takacs Tibor. After 16 played minutes Hartmann Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Cavalcante. Hartmann Futebol Clube's Jefferson Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 20th minute of play. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Cavalcante in the 23rd minute. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Faas Romário tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jefferson Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute Zeus Müller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zeus Müller came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hartmann Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zeus Müller couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Jefferson Oliveira in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Faas Romário sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jefferson Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 63rd minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jefferson Oliveira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Jefferson Oliveira however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Hartmann Futebol Clube's Jefferson Oliveira got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jefferson Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hungary booed when Hartmann Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Cavalcante didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 90th minute of play. The supporters of Hartmann Futebol Clube booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball.
