After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Blaire Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spital's supporters rose to their feet, but Blaire Dillon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serginho Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, MINEIROS's Benê Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kennedy Keegan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Toninho Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kennedy Keegan was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded MINEIROS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spital.
