Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Marin Giubelean sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Marin Giubelean tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 25 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dumitru Pantelimon who took care of the corner kick. In the 27th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When Aron Petrescu fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Academia Rio's protests and gave Aron Petrescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 30 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Aron Petrescu. When Academia Rio's Marin Giubelean in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 minutes, Marin Giubelean made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Major Barna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Doru Dobrinescu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Gigel Tilea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Gigel Tilea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 56th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Coșeriu. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigel Tilea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Antal Valentin could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Gigel Tilea however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Rio's zone, Balazs Lajos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigel Tilea came out of the goal and Balazs Lajos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bakos Endre, made in the 88th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the game, Marin Giubelean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marin Giubelean might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Giubelean ran back to his position shaking his head. The Academia Rio players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
